Elliot Eastwick

Elliot joins The Rev having previously dj’d at some of Manchester’s famous and historic dance venues - career began in 1990 at Manchester’s Hacienda club, playing downstairs in the Gay Traitor bar and in 1992 he started the now legendary YELLOW night at Manchester Boardwalk which continued for 6 years as well as launching HARD TIMES in Leeds. And throughout all that he launched his own record label, Paper Recordings, Elliot’s own record label which boasts around 130 releases.

He went on to spend a couple of years locked in a studio remixing and producing for the likes of Moloko, Underworld and Electronic which amounted to Elliot winning “Remixer of the Year 1997” and in the same year things went full circle as he took up residency in the main room at The Hacienda for Saturday nights and was awarded the dubious honour of playing the last ever record

Since then he’s worked with Granada television to present THIS IS MUSIC, a weekly evening music programme showcasing bands from the North West. He also presented links and voiceover for BBC 3 and appeared on Faking It (the cellist DJ one).

Tune in every weekday to Elliot only on 96.2 The Revolution.
