Phil Beckett

Mr Beckett (or Beefy, Becks, Becko, Beckmeister, Dr. Beckett as some listeners have tagged him) has had a fruitful (and quite long) career in loads of bits of the Music Industry. Bands, Record Shops, Live Music Venues, the list goes on…but he is best known for his work with the 'one's and two's' Dj'ing over the years at probably every Manchester Venue there is including The Hacienda, The Boardwalk, Sankey's Soap, Home (remember THAT!) and of course a Ten Year Residency at South. Phil's also warmed up the crowds at Live Gigs for Oasis, Ian Brown , Badly Drawn Boy and was/is The Seahorses/John Squire's Tour DJ. Philip likes collecting round black circular plastic and eating biscuits.
